Downtown Stroudsburg is the place to go for food, fun, music and more! The beautiful borough comes alive with community cheer during the annual StroudFest celebration, set for Saturday, August 31, 2013.
Gather the whole family and join the merriment on Main Street! This free outdoor festival features live music on two concert stages, great food, children’s activities and displays from more than 150 unique vendors. There will be a karaoke area, a rock-climbing wall, model car displays, and specials at many of the town’s charming shops, galleries and dining destinations.
The borough’s historic Stroud Mansion will host a free Olde Time Fun event for children and their families. All are welcome to enjoy kid-friendly crafts, demonstrations, games and more in the Mansion’s back yard from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, August 31 is also the date of the Rain Barrel Art Scavenger Hunt prize drawing. Outdoor enthusiasts who have taken the self-guided art tour should drop off completed entry forms to the Brodhead Creek Regional Authority (BCRA) booth at StroudFest for a chance to win a new, unpainted rain barrel.
