Fill the final days of summer with some fun at the fair! The 96th Annual Greene-Dreher-Sterling (GDS) Fair will take place Tuesday, August 27 through Monday, September 2 at the GDS Fairgrounds in Newfoundland.
Themed Harvest Your Dreams, this year’s event pays tribute to the fair’s original mission of promoting farm life, activities and success. Time-honored traditions will merge with exciting new attractions to create a memorable county fair experience for all. Lights, music and the unmistakable aroma of fair concessions will fill the air as contests, demonstrations, games and exhibits delight guests of all ages. This year’s highlights include a monster truck show, truck and tractor pulls, demolition derbies, livestock shows, live performances, pageants and more!
Gates open at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Midweek admission is just $5 per person. Fair fun starts early Friday through Monday; with gates opening at 9 a.m. Weekend admission is $8 per person. The pay-one-price admission fee covers all exhibits, music shows and rides. Additional fees apply for some arena shows and special events. Parking is always free.
