Motorists along Routes 390, 447 and 191 will now know when they’re entering the Brodhead Watershed thanks to funding by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Environmental Education Grant Program.
Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the BWA announced June 4; the three new signs are on display along the roadways near Skytop Lodge, Lake in the Clouds and Griscom Run welcoming travelers. Additional smaller signs marking locations of streams monitored throughout the watershed are also in the works.
