Dansbury Park in East Stroudsburg

Lake Wallenpaupack in Hawley
Plans are set for another spectacular fireworks arrangement over Lake Wallenpaupack! Set to start approximately 9:15 p.m. with parking available in the Wallenpaupack Area High School lot. The bleachers are open to spectators beginning at 7 p.m. You can also check it out from the dike and by boat from the lake. Go to www.lakeregioncc.com. Rain date July 5.

Jim Thorpe Memorial Park

Shawnee Mountain Ski Area in East Stroudsburg
Considered one of “The Best Shows in the Poconos” Shawnee Mountain Ski Area’s fireworks display is ready to go with gates opening 7 p.m. at $10 per car. The display will begin around 9 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company. Call (570) 421-7231 or visit www.shawneemt.com.
Skytop Lodge
The skies above Skytop add an amazing touch to the resort’s already breathtaking view of the region. A carnival starts at 1p.m. with live music, games and more then soak-up the colorful sights of one of the area’s finest fireworks displays. Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Wilkes-Barre
Attention is drawn away from the racetrack apron on up as Mohegan Sun offers a sight to see with their free display filling the night sky at 9:30 p.m. July 10. Rescheduled from the original July 3 date due to forecasted inclement weather, this one rocks with a Party on the Patio featuring Tramps Like Us- A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen. Tobyhanna Township Community Day in Pocono Pines
Not quite done with that Fourth of July adrenaline rush? Tobyhanna Township is preparing a feast for the eyes in the sky with their Annual Community Day Celebration July 12 at Blanche Price Park in Pocono Pines. Dashing the assumption fireworks are saved merely for Independence Day, a concept growing in popularity, the day of festivities including music, food and fun starts at 2 p.m. winding down with this nighttime send off at dusk.
