Eckley Miners’ Village Museum lends an ominous backdrop to their popular Haunted Halloween Lantern Tours running Friday and Saturday nights now through October 25. Stirring things up for over 15 years, darkness plays the catalyst for this evening of bizarre frights across the 160 year old coal mining village.
“Although Eckley is a mining town this event, which is a fundraiser for the Eckley Miners’ Village Associates, also provides all of our volunteers and staff a break from our mission of providing educational and historical events to just have fun and join the community in enjoying a fun holiday,” says EMVM’s Kristen Bogash.
