Forecasting “dependable snow conditions” as a key ingredient in their formula for fun; this family and beginner-friendly ski resort, recently detailed their ongoing multi-million dollar snowmaking improvements including over a mile of new piping and automated enhancements to its ski and snowboarding facilities propelling them into the 2014-15 season.
Modernization kicks off the mix with the resort’s new computer controlled system servicing SMSA’s popular Kittatinny and Bennikill trails. Its two largest Centac electric air compressors got a boost; increasing the snowmaking capacity and efficiency on all of their 23 slopes and trails.
New equipment including 300 pairs of Flow snowboard boots, 200 Rossignal and Burton snowboards, 500 Elan Exar E-rise skis with bindings and 200 Dalbello ski boots join an already extensive collection of trusted equipment in Shawnee’s Rental Shop. Now one of the largest rental shops in the country they’re able to outfit more than 4,000 skiers and riders!
They’re reaching new sights with early purchase discounts on daily lift tickets, rentals and beginner packages now available online. Live webcams to check out the conditions peaks the combination offering a peek at what’s in store for potential riders.
