Creativity is the catalyst in Electric City Trolley Museum‘s recipe for uniting community spirit as they welcome the Festival of Trees back now through 31. Exhibiting artificial tree creations with this year’s theme being Hollywood Holiday; this popular event encourages individuals and groups to join one another for some friendly competition benefitting Toys for Tots.
Maureen McGuigan, Lackawanna County Deputy Director of Arts and Culture, applauds the ingenuity behind some of her favorite displays with themes including Fairytale and Art of the Tree. Encouraging all to “think outside of the box” results have yielded creations including a tree made out of books and even recycled bottles!
So, get ready to set your sights on some amazing Scranton delights with admission to the Festival of Trees included in museum costs of $6 for adults and $4 for kids.
