Camelback Mountain Resort—a name synonymous for sensational snow sports, keeps the thrills coming as chills carry on This Week and beyond across the region. A stellar lineup of events with sights set to ignite the outdoor enthusiast in all is sure to send the winter season out with a bang.
Don’t despair when we lose the cool air, there’s much more excitement in store. As seasons change, so shall this massive mountainous destination with Camelback Mountain Adventures, Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark and the new Camelback Lodge opening soon.
For now, soak up some snowy outdoor fun while it lasts with these awesome events:
- February 22 Check out and cheer on the U10/12 Race running 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Raceway Mountain Location
- February 25 An evening blast awaits with Wednesday Night Race League sights 5 to 9 p.m. at the Raceway Mountain Location
- February 28 & March 1 Experience insight with a visit to the Ranger/Patrol Open House 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the top of Sullivan Lift
- March 8 Scouts can earn their Snow Sports Merit Badge at the Merit Badge Test 10 a.m. to noon in the Lesson Area
- March 14 Telefest reigns over Camelback Base Area from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. events surrounding the Telemark skiing technique
- March 14 The Bistro/Valley View hosts this year’s Passholder Party where season pass holders can hit this hotspot from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- March 21 & 22 Camelback’s highly anticipated Parking Lot Party rages from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Sundbowl CBK Lodge Parking Lot. The weekend long excitement features Pond Skimming from 1 to 3 p.m. on the 21st with Cardboard Box Derby festivities 1 to 3 p.m. the 22nd
