Our journey of “sights” to send out the 2015 ski season with a bang, takes us to Shawnee Mountain as they host their 30th Annual Costume Carnival Day Sunday March 22! This popular tradition invites one and all to stroll on up to the ticket window in full costume and receive a free same day lift ticket. While you don’t have to wear it skiing, you may want to “stay in character” as there’ll be judging and a costume parade at 1 p.m. with some pretty amazing prizes in store.
Costume categories range from Best Family and Best Junior to Funniest and Most Original. Bear mind face paint only, masks, jewelry, swords and sports jerseys do not qualify for the free lift ticket so dress to the nines and ensure free snow time!
