Celebrate spring renewal at the Waverly Community House! Committed to educational, recreational and cultural opportunities for the community, this valuable non-profit organization will host their Annual House & Garden Show fundraiser the weekend of April 25 and 26.
Seeds of the show planted in 1992 have since blossomed into today’s destination to discover the latest trends in home and garden décor, artisan creations, giftware and more. Vendors onsite will offer unique designs and expert advice for both indoors and out. Home improvement experts are ready to discuss how to make your next project a reality.
With gardening season in full bloom, landscapers and greenhouse pros will be on hand to “lend a hand” with earning that green thumb! Junior gardeners will even learn a bit of planting plans themselves as Beichler’s Greenhouse returns with their fun and educational workshop for kids.
WCH Special Events Coordinator, Alexandra MacNamara, reports on what’s new this year with inviting insight to last year’s experience. Calling the House and Garden Committee’s idea for a cookout style luncheon, “A refreshing change,” she also points out prior year’s perks.
Describing 2014’s event finds with a friend,” A sort of treasure trove for all things home,” Alexandra suggests a Pre-Mother’s Day visit for gifts and gardening inspiration admitting, “We left far from empty handed!”
