Honesdale Central Park
Visit beautiful Central Park in Honesdale for an Independence Day Celebration presented by Wayne County Creative Arts Council and the Greater Honesdale Partnership; Friday, July 3 for music, festivities and an amazing fireworks display. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. featuring three local favorites: The History of Fishes, The Dixieland All Stars and The Crystal Band all ready to ignite the night with excitement! Fireworks are at dusk. Rain date is July 6.

Shawnee Mountain Ski Area in East Stroudsburg
Considered one of “The Best Shows in the Poconos” Shawnee Mountain Ski Area’s fireworks display is ready to go Friday, July 3. Gates open 7 p.m. at $10 a car load so pack them in and head on out for the festivities.
Plan for a truly entertaining evening with a DJ, Mark Clark’s All American Magic Show and more including a variety of food and craft vendors. It’s fireworks up at sundown with plenty of slopeside seating so bring a blanket or chair. Proceeds benefit Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company. Should showers overpower plans, a July 5 rain date has been set.

Downtown Scranton
Enjoy a mix of colorfully explosive fireworks amidst the thunderous rhapsody of NEPA Philharmonic Friday, July 3 at a Scrantastic Spectacular display in Courthouse Square. Melodious echoes fill the streets starting 7:30 p.m. with fireworks flying at dark. Friday festivities also afford the ability to take in a First Friday Scranton tour with a wide variety of cultural and social events spread throughout the city.
Craving more? A repeat performance is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4 at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre.

Surveys say… Camelbeach waterpark by day with mesmerizing fireworks by night is a must for our top list of sights to see in the Pocono Mountains with festivities planned for Saturday, July 4. Splash and play from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. then dry off to the sizzling sounds of local favorite The Maybabies 7 to 10 p.m.

Lake Wallenpaupack in Hawley
Cometh by land or by sea—or lake in this case, for another spectacular fireworks display Saturday, July 4 over Lake Wallenpaupack! Fireworks are set to start approximately 9:15 p.m. with seating and parking available in the Wallenpaupack Area High School lot. Bleachers will be open to spectators beginning 7 p.m.
Why not start a tradition to treasure? Hop aboard Wallenpaupack Scenic Boat Tours with boarding starting 7:30 for a cruise with clues into the lake history and a stop close to the observation dock and dike to watch the display. You’ll be on the lake so dress accordingly.
