Shawnee Mountain Ski Area presents Poconos’ Wurst Festival with a mix of brews, brats and musical festivities set for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 18 and 19. Considered the “best of the wurst,” cultures collide with authentic Polish and German cuisine and traditional dance. Creating new novelties the Festival’s “Bier Stein Olympics” and “Beer Belly Contest” return with inviting sights and hilarities!
Slip on some lederhosen and dancing shoes for a pure Polka weekend with three stages of performances filled with favorites the likes of The Chardon Polka Band, The Austrian Boys, Eddie Derwin & the Polka Naturals, Apple Strudel Gang and HSV Bavaria Dancers.
A fun for all focus includes not only games for adults but kids can enjoy the Puppen Meister marionette show, Brat Man living statue, rubber duck races even Bavarian juggling shows and face painting!
