Step inside Steamtown National Historic Site as fee-free days unfold living history with tours and special exhibits including “Steel and Steam” airing in the Scranton destination’s state-of-the-art digital theater. Even enjoy a short or longer train excursion!
Enjoy a special re-dedication of the Baldwin Locomotive Works no. 26 planned for April 17. While the park opens 9 a.m. festivities including a ribbon-cutting ceremony and photo exhibit documenting the locomotive’s restoration begin 11 a.m.
Guests will also receive a free commemorative baseball card of the locomotive’s history and statistics!
