quiet-valley-harvest-lgQuiet Valley Living Historical Farm will host its 42nd Annual Harvest Festival Saturday and Sunday, October 8th and 9th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Themed 19th Century Tools, Technology & Trends; this year’s festival will showcase farming progress in the 19th century using equipment from Quiet Valley’s own collection.

Autumn entertainment a must, this popular educational experience also serves a heaping helping of hearty country food, live folk music; plus storytelling and wagon rides.

An annual Harvest Festival highlight, The Civil War Encampment, has 142nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Co. G, portraying French and Indian War soldiers as they re-enact drills and everyday life of the time giving guests a glimpse into local history and heritage.
